This year, Latitude 49 is in residence at the University of Michigan through the EXCEL program - an innovative program designed to guide students through exploring arts administration, entrepreneurship, and project design.

This class, we'll be leading a discussion on a percussionist's role in a chamber ensemble with a variety of topics including musical function, texture, logistics, stage managing, technical directing, and more!

This class will also include a presentation of Chris Cerrone's new arrangement of his work, "Double Happiness" for Piano, Percussion, and Electronics.
